Close-up on tortoise brooches and bead strings

These are Dorestad brooches to fasten my straps. They were reasonable priced so authenticity went over the fence for now. Try finding Hedeby brooches within a 'smaller' price range
Anyhow, they look amazing and made these 3 bead strands to go with it. Most of the beads are glass but there are also metal and semi-precious stone beads in them.

On this photo you can see my red herringbone fabric a lot better. It's so soft and not itchy at all despite it's a 100% wool!
