WIP - Steampunk wings

Work in progress on my steampunk wings. The idea is making a semi-mechanical steampunky outfit (with the leather parts as you can see in my gallery).
The design of the wings are inspired by a drawing by [link]

The 'feathers' are made from 1,5 mm thick aluminium. The sticks at my back are actually broom sticks

All credits of making the design into realisation goes to my boyfriend! I have no technical skills what so ever and would have cut my arm of twice(!) if I had to make this.

Next step is painting the woodwork into a dark brown colour and spraying the aluminium to copper.
